I never planned to become a Ragdoll mum.
A few years ago, I was in Italy, sitting quietly with a glass of Pinot Noir, moving through a season of deep loss. I had lost my partner, and with that came a silence I wasn’t prepared for. My heart felt empty in a way I had never experienced before, and I remember thinking that I needed to feel some kind of love again — something gentle, something safe.
What I didn’t realise then was that love sometimes arrives in forms you never expect.
Princess and Romeo came into my life not as part of a plan, but as a quiet rescue of my own heart. I never imagined that two Ragdoll cats — with their calm presence, soft fur, and unwavering affection — would change my life as profoundly as they did.
They didn’t replace anything.
They restored something.
Ragdolls have a unique way of loving without conditions. They sit with you. They stay. They soften the hard edges of grief. In moments where human connection felt too heavy or too complicated, Princess and Romeo simply were. And that was enough.
Princess truly lives up to her name. She’s gentle and shy, and at times she carries a little anxiety — but beneath that is the most beautiful, loving heart. It took time, patience, and trust for her to fully settle, and every moment of that journey has been worth it.
Romeo, on the other hand, brings calm confidence and warmth wherever he goes. A fun fact many people love: Romeo was actually a Champion Ragdoll before I adopted him — officially awarded for his beauty and temperament. So when I say he’s always been elite, it’s technically true — even if he prefers cuddles over trophies.
Being able to share my elite Ragdolls with the world brings me a deep sense of joy. This store was born from healing, companionship, and the unexpected magic that animals bring into our lives. My hope is that through Princess and Romeo, others feel a little happiness, comfort, and light too.
Princess and Romeo didn’t just come into my life — they helped heal my heart.
For that, I am endlessly grateful.
